About Morris Heights University (MHU)

Proceeds from the 2012 Morris Heights Health Center Foundation Annual Impact Awards Gala will be earmarked for the Morris Heights University (MHU).  For over 30 years, Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) has been responding to the community’s need for quality and compassionate healthcare.  In that tradition, MHHC created MHU to answer the call for increasing numbers of diverse, highly educated, and qualified healthcare professionals.  MHU is a comprehensive learning center through which all teaching and training activities are coordinated, with a focus on developing clinical capabilities and knowledge, information technology, management development, and work skills enhancement.  Channeling funds towards the growth of MHU will propel MHHC as a leader in the training and education of a new workforce equipped to meet the changing needs of its communities.  An investment in MHU is an investment in the future of the healthcare workforce.
